Developers

App Developers are individuals or teams of professionals who design, code, and build applications (apps) and list them on the store. In order to become a Developer in the Magic Store, users should generate their Magic ID, followed by registering as a Developer, which implies setting up their Developer Profile. One developer can list as many apps as desired. Every app has to be listed. Developers go through a simple 10-minute listing process in the Magic Store, providing requested information about their app.

Each app goes through our Internal Confirmation Process. Listed apps can be production-ready or under development. Upcoming Apps have not yet gone live on the main network (if they have a token), or are in beta, testing, or development phases. If apps pass the Internal Confirmation Process, they are listed in the Upcoming section with a specified launch date. Upon going live, they will undergo the Validation Process, like all Mainnet apps. In case an App is Rejected, it may apply fixes and go through the Internal Confirmation Process again, or it may be Rejected for good due to unaccepted content or other reasons that will be specified in the rejection message.

Validation

All apps that pass the Internal Confirmation Process appear in the Validation Section and go through the Validation Process. To vote, users must have completed Magic ID profile. The Validation Process lasts for 2 weeks (14 days). An app must receive 60% positive votes to pass the Validation Process. If the app fails, the app developers can re-apply an unlimited number of times. If the app receives more than 60% positive votes, it will be listed in the Validated Section. The entire Validation Process is publicly visible to all members of the Magic Store.

App developers can also enjoy the advantages of Magic Boost and Hot Offers in order to bring more traffic to their apps.
